Our Silicone Stoppers, also known as Silicone Tapered Stoppers or Silicone Plugs, are the industry standard for high temperature masking applications. Made from High Temperature Silicone Rubber, this reliant material is suitable for use during Powder Coating, E-Coating, Plating and Anodising. With a rating of up to 315°c, our range of High Temperature Masking Bungs can be used for all general plugging applications. Recommended operating temperature range is -60°c to 230°c.

Product Information
The tapered design of our Silicone Stoppers means that a tight seal is easily achieved simply by pushing the Plug into the hole that needs to be masked or closed off for your process. Our High Temp Series silicone plugs are designed to plug plain and threaded holes; they will mask off the hole and allow finishing up to it.
>Recommended for powder coating, e-coating, plating and anodizing
>Withstands temperatures up to 600°F (315°C). Recommended operating temperature range is -60°c to 230°c.

Product Uses
Silicone Tapered Stoppers are commonly used during Powder Coating, E-Coating, Plating and Anodising. Not recommended for use with aggressive chemicals or hydrocarbons.
*Tip 1-Ensure the Major Diameter is at least 15% larger than the hole diameter and the Minor Diameter is at least 15% smaller.
