The shear compression mounts can handle heavy compression load with low shear stiffness; they are made of high quality vulcanized natural rubber on two sheets of metal.
Our shear compression rubber mounts are compact, maintenance-free and easy to build. Mounting them in pairs in an angled configuration optimizes their efficiency in vibration isolation.
They are used for insulating vibration in vibration compaction plates and vibration rollers, providing strong damping in equipment for piling hammers, and supporting large, heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
