Tetrafluoroethylene products are made of polytetrafluoroethylene resin, cold pressed by mold and sintered, and have excellent corrosion resistance, good self-lubricity and non-adhesion properties. Therefore, the product is resistant to almost all chemical media, and has the characteristics of wear resistance, pressure resistance, and low friction coefficient. It is widely used in many fields such as petroleum, chemical metallurgy machinery, transportation, medicine and food, electricity, etc.

Common processing methods for PTFE products
The processing of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) products is relatively complicated because PTFE has extremely high viscosity, is insoluble in any solvent, and has cold flow properties. The following are commonly used processing methods for PTFE products:
Pressing molding: This is a common processing method in which PTFE powder is pressed into the desired shape through high temperature and high pressure. This method is suitable for making sheets, bars and simple shapes.
Extrusion molding: Used to produce profiles with pipes, bars and complex cross-sections. During the extrusion process, the PTFE powder is extruded through a mold under heating and pressure.
Injection molding: Injection molding similar to plastic, suitable for the production of PTFE products in complex shapes. This method requires a special injection molding machine and a high temperature and high pressure environment.
Sintering molding: The PTFE powder is heated in the mold to above the melting point, and then cooled and solidified to form. This method is suitable for manufacturing parts of complex shapes.

Turning and Milling: For PTFE articles that have been formed, they can be further processed to the desired size and shape by turning and milling.
Welding: PTFE can be connected through special welding techniques (such as high-frequency welding, infrared welding), and is suitable for occasions where sealing or connection is required.
Adhesion: Although PTFE is not easy to bond, bonding can be achieved using special adhesives or techniques such as plasma treatment.
Engraving and cutting: Use laser or mechanical methods to engrave and accurately cut PTFE products.
Due to the difficulty of processing PTFE, these methods often require professional technology and equipment. When choosing a processing method, the shape, size, performance requirements and production efficiency of the product need to be considered.
