FKM - Viton Screen Cleaning Balls
Fluorocarbon elastomer screen cleaning balls or FKM / Viton balls have excellent resistance to high temperatures, oils, acids, oxidation. The Viton rubber balls are used mainly as screen deblinding method and are not flammable.
They are usually used in the chemical industry because they offer excellent oil, acid and high-temperature resistance, crack resistance, and aging properties typically stronger. FKM cannot be distorted by hydrocarbon oils like natural rubber.
Viton screen cleaning balls are resistant to water, gas, ammonia, chlorine, oils and greases mineral / silicon / vegetable / animal, diesel oil, hydraulic fluids, aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, methanol gasoline.
They are not resistant to polar solvents, glycols, ammonia fumes, amines, and alkalis, hot steam, low molecular weight organic acids.
Our FKM viton screen cleaning balls can be used as well in Safety pumps and valves for the chemical industry (as sealing element), for hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
