Oil- and Abrasion-Resistant Polyurethane O-Ring Cord. Polyurethane O-ring Cord resist mineral oil, motor oil, and ethylene glycol. They have a round profile and are suitable for a wide range of static and dynamic sealing applications.

Polyurethane O-rings are made of general purpose polyurethane rubber, which is known for its combination of hardness and elasticity. Polyurethane O-rings have excellent abrasion resistance and high breaking strength.
O-rings of polyurethane are resistant to oils, aging, ozone, heat, electricity, as well as to many chemicals. Polyurethane O-rings perform well at low temperatures, but are not recommended for high temperature or superheated steam.
The elastomeric urethane rubber from which the polyurethane rings are made must not be confused with the thermoplastic casting polyurethane. Polyurethane o-rings are made of moderately expensive polyurethane material and exhibit excellent physical properties.
Common applications of polyurethane O-rings are industrial seals, high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic applications and dynamic applications in the following areas: loaded and medium-loaded hydraulic cylinders pneumatic cylinders belt drive valves actuators
