O-rings HNBR
HNBR O-ring seal: It has excellent corrosion resistance, tear resistance and compression deformation resistance, and is good ozone resistance, sunlight resistance and weather resistance. It has better wear resistance than butane-cyan rubber. Suitable for washing machinery, automotive engine systems and refrigeration systems using the new environmentally friendly refrigerant R134a. It is not recommended to use in alcohols, esters or aromatic solutions. The general temperature range is -40~150 ℃.

The Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR) O-ring has steadily increased in popularity over the last few years due to its excellent cost-performance balance and use in highly challenging applications such as automobile, high-performance industrial applications.
The HNBR O-ring meets higher temperatures than the normal NBR. The HNBR O-ring has recently been designed to reach higher temperatures than the normal NBR while preserving tolerance to petroleum-based oils. The HNBR O-ring has a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.
HNBR O-rings are excellently resistant to oils and chemicals. Obtained by the hydrogenation of the nitrile copolymer, the HNBR O-ring fills the void left between the NBR, EPDM and FKM elastomers where high-temperature pressures demand high tensile strength while retaining excellent tolerance to oils, freon and chemicals.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), also classified as Heavily Saturated Nitrile (HSN), is a special class of nitrile rubber (NBR) that has been hydrogenated to increase the saturation of the butadiene portion of the carbon polymer backbone.
Subsequent changes to the material properties of nitrile rubber (NBR) include greater thermal tolerance, wider chemical tolerance and higher tensile strength. However, HNBR is still a form of hydrocarbon rubber and the chemical tolerance or thermal stability of the fluoro-rubber should not be expected.
