Gaskets can be cut into various shapes
Rubber gaskets have properties such as oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, cold and heat resistance, and aging resistance. They can be directly cut into various shapes of sealing gaskets and are widely used in medicine, electronics, chemical industry, antistatic, flame retardant, food, and other industries.
Products and Applications
Rubber gasket The sheet-shaped rubber products that seal between two stationary surfaces of metal flanges or other connecting parts are collectively referred to as rubber gaskets. It can be manufactured by the molding method, and can also be processed by the vulcanized film. It can be widely used in all kinds of mechanical equipment, playing the role of lining, sealing, buffering, and so on.
In terms of form, commonly used rubber gaskets include: rubber flat gaskets, rubber O-rings, plastic flat gaskets, PTFE-covered gaskets, asbestos rubber gaskets, metal flat gaskets, metal special-shaped gaskets, metal-sheathed gaskets, wave gaskets, Wound washers, etc.
(1) Rubber flat washers: easy to deform and easy to press, but the pressure and temperature resistance are poor, only used in places where the pressure is low and the temperature is not high. Natural rubber has a certain acid and alkali resistance, and the operating temperature should not exceed 60 °C; neoprene rubber is also resistant to some acids and alkalis, and the operating temperature is 80 °C; nitrile rubber is oil-resistant and can be used up to 80 °C; Fluorine rubber has good corrosion resistance and is resistant to The temperature performance is also stronger than that of general rubber, and it can be used in a medium of 150 °C.
(2) Rubber sealing gasket: The cross-sectional shape is a perfect circle, and it has a certain self-tightening effect. The sealing effect is better than that of the flat gasket, and the pressing force is smaller.
In terms of material, the main products of rubber pads are: silicone pads, nitrile rubber pads, fluororubber pads, and other rubber pads. Rubber gaskets have the properties of oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, cold and heat resistance, aging resistance, etc., and can be directly cut into various shapes of sealing gaskets, which are widely used in medicine, electronics, chemical industry, antistatic, flame retardant, food and other industries.
Silicone Rubber
It has outstanding high and low temperature resistance, maintains good flexibility in the temperature range of -70°C to +260°C, is resistant to ozone and weathering, and is suitable for sealing gaskets in thermal machinery. It is non-toxic and can be used to make thermal insulation, insulation products and medical rubber products. At the same time, it has excellent properties such as waterproof, flame retardant, high temperature resistance, electrical conductivity, wear resistance, oil resistance, etc. It is widely used in machinery, electronics, plumbing and other industries.
Nitrile rubber
NBR (Nitrile-Butadiene Rubber) is a polymer formed by emulsion copolymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile. It is famous for its excellent oil resistance, as well as good wear resistance, aging resistance and air tightness. Therefore, it is widely used in the rubber industry.
fluororubber
It has high temperature resistance, can be used in the environment of -20℃-+200℃, and is resistant to strong oxidants, oil, acid and alkali. Usually used in high temperature, high vacuum and high pressure environment, but also suitable for oil environment, widely used in petroleum, chemical, aviation, aerospace and other departments.
other
Neoprene, natural rubber, EPDM, acrylate and other specialty rubbers. It has the characteristics of oil, acid, alkali, wear resistance, high and low temperature resistance.
use standard
Give full play to the characteristics of various gaskets. ; When using rubber gaskets, the following factors should be fully considered:
It has good elasticity and recovery, can adapt to pressure changes and temperature fluctuations, has appropriate flexibility, and can fit well with the contact surface;
Does not pollute the process medium;
No hardening at low temperature, small shrinkage;
Good processing performance, easy installation, and pressing;
The sealing surface is not bonded, and the disassembly is easy.
application
Rubber gaskets are widely used in automobiles, electronics, chemicals, antistatic, flame retardant, food, various mechanical equipment, and other industries, and can play the role of the gasket, sealing, buffering, and so on.
